Burlington County Institute of Technology
Mike is Senior Instructor of the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), now discontinued and Microsoft
Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), also discontinued and Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) courses
in the Adult Education School at BCIT. These courses are designed for Information Technology professionals and specialize
in Windows Server and Windows XP operating systems. The MCDST course is also suitable for students with limited
experience.
Mike also provides instruction on the Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, Powerpoint, Access, Excel,
Outlook) as well as general Windows computing instruction. The MS Office classes are 'hands-on' classes. Students work
at their own pace on an assigned computer performing application tasks following a structured format. Windows classes cover
general operating system topics for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. The
classes specialize in helping computer users optimize the performance of their computers as well as how to protect their computers
from the various types of threats found today on the Internet. These 'hands-on' classes which are adult-oriented
and senior-friendly are offered at the Keegan Recreation Center in Burlington, The City of Burlington Adult
Education Department, The Glen at Masons Creek residential community and at the Holiday Village East residential community.
